Why can’t I pick up a digital/HD/DVR box at my local office & hook it up myself?
There’s a filter on the line going into your home that our professional installers must remove in order for the interactive portions of the digital service (PassTime games/VOD/PPV) to be accessed properly. They also make sure the digital quality you deserve is not compromised.

Yes. You can watch one program while recording another, or you can record two programs simultaneously while watching a third, already recorded program from your playlist. This is because the DVR settop is "dual-tuner."
- Will I need to purchase any special equipment to use Blue Ridge DVR?

You have up to 40 hours of recording capacity for standard definition programming. If you record HD shows, recording capacity is less.

Yes. You can view and record programming from premium movie channels with DVR. If you are interested in a DVR that supports HD programming from these premium movie chanels, please specify when ordering.
- Can I record On Demand programming on a Blue Ridge DVR?
No. On Demand and Music Choice programming cannot be recorded onto a DVR.
- Does the DVR allow me to watch and record high-definition programming?
