Why can’t I pick up a digital/HD/DVR box at my local office & hook it up myself?
There’s a filter on the line going into your home that our professional installers must remove in order for the interactive portions of the digital service (PassTime games/VOD/PPV) to be accessed properly. They also make sure the digital quality you deserve is not compromised.
- Can I get digital services on all TVs in my home?
Yes. We can install a digital receiver on all of your TVs. Just let the Customer Service Agent know how many TV's you need service on. Additional settop box charges will apply.
- Will I need to purchase any special equipment to use Blue Ridge DVR?
No. Blue Ridge Communications will provide you with a DVR receiver when you sign up for DVR service. A deposit may be required as well as a credit card # for our files.

Press the "Settings" button, then "A" for more settings and check your audio dig output. If that is on “Dolby digital” change it to “2 channel only”, this should help with the sound.
